Only one night in a week

I've never had this happen before. There are shows that I LOVE to watch and would never dream of missing an episode. So, why is it that the TV execs got this brilliant idea to put ALL my favorite shows on the same night and at the same time?!

Here's the line-up for tonight:

at 9pm

SCRUBS

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
(Mmmmmm Stokes...what a hottie!!)

THE O.C. (cause I miss 90210)

GREY'S ANATOMY

at 10pm

ER

MEN IN TREES

So, have all the days been collapsed into just one and no one told me about it? Cause I really would like to know.

How about Wednesdays?? Now there's a day where NOTHING is on since Lost ended until January (or is it February?). Couldn't they have put one or two shows on that night?! Huh?! I tell ya, it MUST be men running those networks! No sense of organization at all!!

(to all my readers: please don't take offense, that is unless you are unorganized and coincidentally male.)

'Tis the Season

Next Friday is our company Christmas party. Yea!

I need to bring a $10 gift that would be suitable for a male or a female. Ugh!

Any Suggestions????

It’s officially Official!

I am gainfully employed at a business where I’ll actually utilize my degree! Who’d a thunk it?

We're Number One!

Ohio ranks first out of all the states in libraries!

However, since it's become so expensive for people to attend college, no one will learn how to read and thus USE these magnificent libraries.

Your Dosha is Pitta

You have a quick mind, a gift for persuasion, and a sharp sense of humor.

You have both the drive and people skills to be a very successful leader.

Argumentative and a bit stubborn, you have been known to be a little too set in your ways.

But while you may be biased toward your own point of view, you are always honest, fair, and ethical.

With friends: You are outgoing and open to anyone who might want to talk to you

In love: You are picky but passionate

To achieve more balance: Be less judgmental of those around you, and take cool walks in the moonlight.

What's Your Dosha?

***This is what a "dosha" is.

Does anyone else find it ironic that we elect our state officials in a church?

Here's one of the many "naked"*
trees we have in our yard

And their "clothes" they've strewn about the place!

Our neighbors' yard across the street...
They must be waiting for this tree

to drop all it's leaves before touching the others!

Our neighbors to the west have promptly cleaned
up their leaves and had their trees trimmed.
[the husband is 94 (that's not him...
that's my dad with his "rake") & the wife, 82!]

This is their only tree that still has
it's leaves....for now.

These are pictures of a mum that we have in our flowerbed.

Part of it isn't doing so hot after the frosts we've had, but this
was a good looking side for a picture.

I hope this wasn't too graphic and
that all cookies were left untossed.

* The term "naked," in regards to trees, comes from when my brother was little. He would say that once a tree loses all its leaves, it becomes naked!!! :)
